The development of this site was conceived trying to use the natural slope of the land in order to lessen the visual and acoustic impact on the surrounding environment. Therefore the structure has multiple levels. At the top level there are located the deposits of the aggregates and the office building. On the covered lower level is the batching plant and Vehicle storage. it’s a Concrete frame structure, composed of a precast part & a cast in-situ part. For the soil retainment works a concrete Soldier Pile Retaining Wall system was used. Many trees and shrubs where planted around to screen the complex. The Batching plant, has received an award from the Associazione Nazionale Costruttori Edili ANCE (National Association of Builders), for its low environmental impact.
