Situated in San Marino within Edificio Tonelli, the Bioscience Institute is a new centre specialized in cell handling. The Institute is divided into two parts: in the ground floor there are the reception, the waiting room, the dress rooms, blood sample room, and some scientific labs planned in respect of the international rules and observing the modern plan design orientation related to the cleanrooms, in the underground the technical rooms. Being a scientific-health structure with an high bio-technological profile, we have focused our attention mostly on all the aspects related to the ventilation system, the monitoring of the environmental conditions (temperature, humidity, pressure) and to the lighting. The air treatment has been achieved using special energy saving systems that evitate “cross contamination”.
